1.Minimum Order Quantity, and additional prints required
1.1 When printing, much of the cost is in the initial machinery setup, especially for foil or letterpress print methods. This means that there is a minimum order quantity for each order. Should you require less than this, it is still economical to order the extra and keep them for unexpected guests or keepsakes, as the price for less will come out to be the same if not similar to the minimum we have on offer.
1.2 For this reason, please ensure your order includes spares, as it will be more economical to include spares than to order extras. Any extra prints required after the original order has been completed, will be treated as a new and separate order subject to minimum order quantities, stock and supplier availability and can take up to the standard 6 to 8 weeks production time. Dear Charlotte will not be liable for ensuring that the re-print will be ready in time for the event date.
2. Errors, Proofing and Reprints
2.1 In the event that the printed stationery contains an error or contains an element that is not reflected in the proof you approved, Dear Charlotte will rectify the error and have your stationery reprinted at no extra cost. Should you approve a proof that has an error, we will work with you to have your stationery reprinted at your own expense. This will be treated as a new and separate order subject to minimum order quantities, stock and supplier availability and can take up to the standard 6 to 8 weeks production time.
2.2 In the event that the printed stationery requires any other change that was not reflected in the final digital proof, or require any additional prints due to change in guest list size, this will be treated as a new and separate order at my own expense, subject to minimum order quantities, stock and supplier availability and can take up to the standard 6 to 8 weeks production time.
2.3 Dear Charlotte will not be liable for:
- re-printing any oversight of errors that were contained in final proof that you have approved.
- ensuring that the re-print will be ready in time for the event date, as this can take up to the standard 6 to 8 weeks production time.
This includes:
- Spelling / Punctuation
- Wording / Grammar
- Spacing, alignment and placement of certain text and elements
- Accuracy of your personal wedding details including location, time, dates.
3.1 We make all reasonable efforts to accurately display the attributes of our products, including the applicable colors; however, the actual color you see will depend on your computer system and/or monitor and we cannot guarantee that your Computer will accurately display such colors.
4. Supplying your event details, wedding logo, and reprints
4.1 The amount of wording used will be limited to the constraints of the design and approved at our discretion. Each invitation has been carefully designed; as such changes to invitation wording may only be made in limited circumstances. A guest list, and wedding logos can be emailed to us in form of a spreadsheet. You are responsible for the correct names and spelling. Dear Charlotte will not be liable for any oversight of spelling and any re-prints required will be treated as a new and separate order subject to minimum order quantities, stock and supplier availability and can take up to the standard 6 to 8 weeks production time. Dear Charlotte will not be liable for ensuring that the re-print will be ready in time for the event date.
5. Stock availability
5.1 Orders are subject to stock availability. In the event of supply difficulties we will inform you and discuss alternative materials or designs.
6. Cancellations/ refunds
6.1 All products are made to order and once we have received your order inlcuding any deposits, we do not offer refunds. Please choose carefully upon ordering. This also applies if you have over ordered for quantities, additional cards, or if your event is postponed due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) mandatory Government restrictions. However if the printing process hasn’t commenced, we can put the credit towards a future order, for example event stationery.
7. Print times and Delivery
Print times can vary on the time of year, level of customization, size of order and print method (standard, foil or letterpress). Additional time will be required for envelope addressing. The typical order time is between 6 to 8 weeks from the day you confirm your order, including shipping to your door, but can be faster or slower depending on the complexity of your order and how fast you respond to proofing. Based on the above factors, an assessment of the estimated delivery timeframe will be provided for each order. We will always endeavour to keep you updated on your order and once printing has been completed, we will contact you to provide a more accurate delivery timeframe.
All of our orders that require shipping will be sent be through Australia post. All orders are sent with an authority to leave so please ensure that you or someone you trust is at the requested delivery address to receive your order. We package our orders carefully to protect them during shipping, however we cannot be held responsible for any damages during shipping or loss to your package once it has left our premises.

8. Copyright
8.1 All of our collections and designs and their copyright are owned solely by Dear Charlotte. They may not be reproduced in any way or method.
9. Marketing
9.1 By purchasing on our website, you agree that Dear Charlotte can use the work we produce for you for marketing and promotional purposes. This may include but is not limited to: addition in sample packs, advertising in print and digital media and on our website.
